Sheffield Half Marathon 2025

With the city of Sheffield being built on seven hills, this course would seem to be the perfect running event to choose if you’re after something a little bit challenging. You’ll enjoy a warm welcome from the crowds with a city centre start and finish, and the route provides some stunning scenery to keep you going throughout. There are majestic views over the hills on the climb to Ringinglow as you run from the city centre out to the boundary of the Peak District national park. It’s no wonder that the Sheffield Half Marathon is one of the best attended in the country.

How to sign up:

If you would like to take on this challenge to raise funds for Scottish Mountain Rescue, it’s quick and easy to sign up. You can sign up and pay the £30 registration fee directly on the website Run for Charity. For this event, we ask for a minimum sponsorship of £100.

Once you’ve signed up, we will be in touch to provide you with a Scottish Mountain Rescue T-shirt and fundraising support.
