Each year, for the past 9 years, Alan Rowan has produced his popular Moonwalker calendar with all profits going to Scottish Mountain Rescue – to date he has raised more than £6500!
We’re delighted to share that Alan will again be supporting Scottish Mountain Rescue again with his 2025 calendar. The calendars sell for £6 (+ £2.40 p&p in UK) each and can be purchased via his website www.munromoonwalker.com.
The calendars feature stunning Scottish landscapes to inspire us all to head for the hills – the 2025 edition is selling fast, ideal as a Christmas present for the mountain-lover in your life!
Alan, who is a journalist and author, has climbed the Munros four times, the Corbetts and all the Furths (3000 foot+ peaks in England, Ireland and Wales). In September 2019 he had a triple finish of Grahams, Donalds and Munro tops, giving him the full house! He is currently working his way through another Corbett round.
He is the author of 3 books – Moonwalker: Adventures of a Midnight Mountaineer, A Mountain Before Breakfast and, most recently, Mountains of the Moon. He has also published a series of ebooks, The Moonwalker Chronicles.
