The Manchester Marathon is one of the most popular running events in the UK, and it’s no wonder with such a fast and flat route. The whole city turn out to support the event and the atmosphere is jubilant! Runners of all abilities are welcomed, and there is usually a good turnout of elite runners to spur on the field at the front. 

How to sign up:

You can sign up and pay the £40 registration fee directly on the website Run for Charity. For this event, we ask for a minimum sponsorship of £350.

Once you’ve signed up, we will be in touch to provide you with a Scottish Mountain Rescue T-shirt and fundraising support.
