Tales from the Mountains
Strathclyde University are holding an event to raise funds for Scottish Mountain Rescue.
The event which has been created is “Tales from the Mountains – an evening with Tim Miller, professional climber and adventurer”. Tim received the 2020 Youth Award for Excellence in Mountain Culture, came 4th in the Youth Ice Climbing World Championships, has joined several expeditions to the greater ranges including unclimbed peaks and has added many routes to the Scottish Highlands. The event will consist of a talk and presentation from Tim Miller entailing stories from his adventures, followed by a question-and-answer session and a raffle draw. This event will be hosted in aid of Scottish Mountain Rescue, a charity chosen by Tim Miller.
The event will target a niche market of climbers and outdoor enthusiasts and provide a much-needed dose of the outdoors under the current COVID-19 restrictions, all from the comfort of your home.
