In an emergency call 999 and ask for Police then Mountain Rescue
If you would like to make a significant gift to Scottish Mountain Rescue, we would be delighted to work with you to make sure that your donation has the impact that you hope for and that supporting our work is a rewarding experience.
We aim to build meaningful long term relationships with donors who can support us with significant gifts. We provide a personalised and tailored service to all our key supporters and we can also arrange visits and meetings with our teams.
Your involvement and support helps our volunteer teams save lives.
The teams are all very small, made up typically of around 30 volunteers, they operate on a shoestring compared to many bigger rescue organisations. But what they lack in resources, the teams make up for with passion, dedication and skill.
As a community of small charitable organisations, donations of just a few thousand pounds can make a huge impact.
We welcome all our donors to be part of our team.
Being part of Scottish Mountain Rescue and the teams that we represent is the perfect way to reach and support a network of communities, so that everyone can enjoy Scotland’s mountains and wild places and all the physical and mental benefits it offers.
If you would like to give something back, and make a significant difference to Scottish Mountain Rescue and our Member Teams please contact Elsie Riley, Head of Development E-mail: elsie@scottishmountainrescue.org Tel: 07846 653000
We will work closely with you to understand how you want to make a difference. Donations can be used to support a particular area of our work and we can provide information about current projects and equipment needs for Scottish Mountain Rescue and our Member Teams.
