In an emergency call 999 and ask for Police then Mountain Rescue
If you would like to make a significant gift to Scottish Mountain Rescue, we would be delighted to work with you to make sure that your donation has the impact that you hope for and that supporting our work is a rewarding experience.
We aim to build meaningful long term relationships with donors. We welcome our donors to be part of our life-saving team. We want to keep you updated and involved in our work and we can also arrange visits and meetings with our teams, if this is something that you would like. Our donors are an important part of our Mountain Rescue community.
The Mountain Rescue teams we represent are all very small, made up typically of around 30 volunteers. They operate on a shoestring compared to many bigger rescue organisations. But what they lack in resources, the teams make up for with passion, dedication and skill. The small size of our teams means you donation can have a really tangible impact.
This is where you come in. Our team doesn’t end with the volunteers who give their time to respond to rescues, we also need our support crew to help power our teams.
We welcome all our donors to be part of Scottish Mountain Rescue
With rising rescues we need people like you on our side now more than ever. Together we can provide peace of mind for everyone who wants to enjoy our beautiful mountains. Our rescues wouldn’t be possible without the support of our mountain loving community. Join us.
